WELCOME BACK!
Hello Scouts, Scouters and Parents, welcome to another year of Cub Scouting here at Pack 591.
We are looking forward to seeing you all back and hope those of you who joined us at Southaven back in July had the time of your lives. We have a full year of fun activities planned.
We're going to keep our Wednesday meetings as usual and will be starting up Wednesday, September 13th. Most of the calendar for the school year is already up on our website at www.wnypack591.com.
We're looking forward to welcoming back Mr. Norm as our Bear Den Leader, Mr. Brian as our Tiger Den Leader and myself, Mr. Jim as our Webelos Den Leader. We'd also like to welcome Mr. George, Brody and Landon's Dad as our new Wolf Den Leader.
As some of you may have heard, Mr. Preston has decided to move on from his position as Cubmaster so I will be taking over the title and duties of Cubmaster. Mr. Marty, Daniel's Dad has agreed to stay on in a committee position. Family involvement will be crucial this year as we evolve into new leadership and many hands make light work.
We were very fortunate this year to be able to take advantage of the grant for Southaven, pretty sure that won't be the case next year so we will hit the ground running as far as fundraising activities to make sure that all our Scouts can attend Camp again next summer.
